Same-Day Trucking Insurance Filings
Fast Certificate Issuance and Filing Support for Intermodal & Drayage Carriers
For intermodal drayage carriers, rail ramp operators, and port truckers, the ability to secure insurance quickly — and have certificates filed immediately — is often a business-critical need. A carrier that can't pull containers is a carrier that can't earn revenue. Truxsurance helps intermodal and drayage carriers secure proof of insurance quickly for railroads, ports, brokers, shippers, and equipment providers. Same-day certificate issuance and filing support may be available once underwriting is complete and coverage is bound.
Same-day COI filings available. Coverage subject to underwriting.

Carrier availability varies by state, operation type, fleet size, and underwriting requirements.
What You Need to Know
- Truxsurance is a UIIA-registered agency — approved to file Certificates of Insurance with the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA)
- UIIA COIs are typically filed the same business day a policy is bound — allowing carriers to begin hauling containers immediately
- MC authority filings (MCS-90, BMC-91, state E and H forms) are handled in-house alongside commercial auto policies
- Additional equipment providers can be added to your UIIA filing at no charge as you expand your terminal access
- Certificate issuance is subject to underwriting approval and carrier binding — we cannot issue without a bound policy
Where We File
- UIIA Equipment Providers (all major U.S. ports and rail ramps)
- Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) — MC filings
- California DMV (CA Form E) and CHP (MCP-65)
- Texas TxDOT and state equivalents
- Railroad-specific COI requirements (BNSF, UP, NS, CSX, CN, CPKC)
